Caregiver Stroke Support Group
Caregivers of stroke survivors!
10 am - 11 am Pacific Time
for the new
Caregivers Stroke Support Group
Sponsored by The Stroke Channel TV
Hosted by Ann Parker, this is a new group where caregivers can meet and connect with other caregivers and share insights and knowledge as they care for a loved one or friend who has had a stroke.
About Ann Parker
Ann spent her working career as a librarian for public, community college and school libraries and retired in 2013. As a strong advocate of community involvement, she also heads her local Neighborhood Watch group, drives for Meals on Wheels, and has completed CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training.
“When my husband had a stroke in 2019 and spent a month in the hospital, I felt adrift upon his return home,” Ann says. “Friends and family provided needed emotional support, but I wanted to talk to other caregivers and share my questions and concerns. Through The Stroke Channel’s new Caregiver Stroke Support Group, I hope caregivers can voice their own personal insights, experiences, and knowledge. We are a special community of people; sharing our stories and skills will help us thrive and grow. We are not alone on this journey.”
NOTE: This support group is only open to the caregivers of stroke survivors.
